Two Years Down Memory Lane,Where Is Castro — Dead or alive?
Today, 6th of July 2016 mark exactly two years since Hiplife Musician Castro, known in private life as Theophilus Tagoe together with Janet Bandu got missing during a jet-ski ride at Aqua Safari, a beach resort at Ada in the Greater Accra Region.
The two according to sources drowned and after several weeks and months of searching for their body, no one can actually tell where they (Castro & Janet Bandu) are.
Till date, the Marine team and other search bodies have not been able to find their body whether dead or alive and the question that has still remained unanswered is where is castro ?
Ghanaians are still trying to come to terms with the mysterious disappearance of the hiplife artiste.
When news broke of Castro’s disappearance two years ago, it was reported that he had visited the beach resort with his friend, the Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, for recreation with some other friends.
It was a weekend to forget when Asamoah Gyan and his elder brother, Baffour, cheated death, while Castro and his lady friend were reported to have drowned at an area close to the Volta estuary.
The news of the disappearance of Castro and his friend went viral on social media and was subsequently carried by some electronic and print media.
The Black Stars captain and his brother, who were with their close pal, Castro, Samuel Anim Addo (Asamoah’s business manager) and some female friends, reportedly left Accra for Ada at the weekend where they checked in at Aqua Safari for two days.
Sources said the group later moved to another holiday resort near the Volta estuary where the hip-life artiste and Bandu hired a jet ski and began to cruise.
While cruising, eyewitnesses narrated, Castro’s lady friend who was behind the musician fell into the water and, in an attempt to rescue her, both of them allegedly got drowned.
A miracle might especially occur as the disappearance of the hiplife star left millions of music lovers in an unprecedented sadness.
Should the opposite occur, it would be a big loss for the African musical industry and particularly Ghana.
