I signed A Bad Contract With XLM, I Own No Song Now – Kaakie Speaks
After her announcement of a split from Record Label XLM, award winning Dancehall artiste “Grace Awo Kaki Ocansey”, popularly known in showbiz circles as Kaakie has revealed that she opt out of XLM because of bad contract.
The artiste took to instagram days ago to announce her split with the record label Xtra Large Music leaving most fans and Music lovers and pundits wondering what might have triggered this shocking revelation as she didn’t reveal any cause of the break up.
Today luckily for us Kaakie granted an interview on GhoneTv with Bela Mundi and detailed the reasons why she walked out of Xtra Large Music owned by JMJ and clearly all wasn’t well for her under the label, a disappointed Kaakie by facial expression is all you can notice nd reluctant in disclosing fully all that went wrong
In the Said interview Kaakie revealed to us how bad the contract she was made to sign about six years ago without her lawyers consent was,
“It may interest you to know I don’t even own a single song I have released so far.
I feel like I have wasted six (6) years of my music career but I’m ready for a new beginning. Not even my Facebook or Twitter Accounts are mine. I heard last that my social media pages have been deleted but I promise my fans of my new pages by the end of this week” she said.
Kaakie denied speculations that she is on her way to Zylofon Media but was quick to add that she could join them if the contract is favorable for her unlike the one with XLM
